To further strengthen ties and promote each other’s cultures, an educational contingent from South Korea recently visited our province.
Delegates from the Daejin University of South Korea spent three days in Tarlac visiting various educational institutions to look for various courses where students could possibly engage in exchange student programs.

Leading the Daejin University delegation was President Leem, Youngmoon, Director Lee, Myeong Woo, Team Leader Park, Jun Yong, Director for International Affairs Kwon, Ho, and Relations Manager Lim, Kyung Nam. The delegation was also joined by Korean investors, Shin Hyup Bank President Shin, Dong Moon, Khan Group Chairman Kim, Hyuk and Khan Group Vice Chairman Hu, Mi Ae.


Their first destination was at the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) where they were met by TAU President Dr. Max Guillermo. The Korean delegation visited also Tarlac State University’s new president Dr. Arnold Velasco and the TSU Lucinda campus. The delegation then visited the PGT’s Tarlac Center for Learning and Skills Success (TCLASS) and were hosted by Ms. Maria Lira Reyes and Ms. Mylene Estaquio.
Tarlac Montessori School was the site for the program led by School Directress Dr. Elizabeth Asiaten and 2nd District Board Member Danilo Asiaten. The afternoon was spent to visit tourism destinations such as the Monasterio De Tarlac, Mudita Glamping Resort and the Jose V. Sports and Recreational Complex. In the evening the group was treated to a dinner by Gov. Susan A. Yap.
