Senior HS students get 1,333 tablets

The Provincial Government of Tarlac led by Governor Susan Yap, Vice Governor Carlito “Casada” David and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members, awarded 1,333 tablets for Senior High School students under PROJECT TABLET [Technology Application to Boost Lifelong skills and Enhance learning among Tarlaqueño learners] at the Diwa ng Tarlac last September 27.

Project TABLET aims to provide Tarlaqueño learners with continuous and quality learning through the provision of digital gadgets to learners in last mile schools. They shall be provided with tablets that can store thousands of useful resources.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has restricted a lot of our activities and redefined the methods of teaching our learners—and as we embrace the new normal, we will meet countless challenges and obstacles along the way,” Vice Gov. David said in his Facebook post.

Gov. Yap reminded the Senior High School beneficiaries of the responsibility in taking care of the tablets they received.

“Take care of your gadgets well as this will be your primary tool for learning,” she said.
