The Provincial Government of Tarlac received three Certificate of Recognition from the Department of the Interior and Local Government [DILG] in a simple ceremony held at the VIP room of the Diwa ng Tarlac, February 10.

The province was named Best Implementer in the Implementation of Road Projects under CMGP Program in Central Luzon for the third consecutive year, 100% Compliance Rating in the Updating of SubayBAYAN Portal and Second Best Provincial Government in the submission and uploading of Provincial Devolution Transition Plans.


CMGP [Conditional Matching Grants to Provinces] Program is a national government initiative that aims to improve the state of core provincial roads by strengthening the capacity and performance of provincial governments in local road management and relevant areas of Public Financial Management.
SubayBAYAN is a new and improved infrastructure monitoring system that will cover all OPDS [Office of the Project Development Services] locally funded projects by the department. It includes GEO-tagging, Map Integration, Physical and Financial Monitoring Graphs, Reports and other analytic tools while the Provincial Devolution Transition Plans refers to the preparation of provinces for the Mandanas-Garcia rule.
Governor Susan Yap received the certifications and plaque from DILG Provincial Director Belina Herman and thanked the DILG for recognizing the efforts being done in the province.
“Mahusay, tapat, at maayos na pagpapagawa ng mga daanan. Ito po’y katibayan na ang inyong mga buwis ay napupunta sa mga proyektong mapakikinabangan ng lahat. Salamat sa patuloy niyong suporta at pagtitiwala,” Yap said.
