FORMER Senator JV Ejercito’s candidacy was boosted further when Governor Susan Yap and other Tarlac officials endorsed his senatorial candidacy during the ground breaking ceremony of the Victoria Plaza Gymnasium, February 18.

The Nationalist Peoples Coalition stalwart, who likewise conducted a motorcade in some parts of Tarlac province, was overwhelmed with the warm reception he received from thousands of Tarlaqueños during his sortie.

“The endorsement of Governor Susan and the Tarlac officialdom is most welcome…I thank all of them,” Ejercito said.
Aside from Yap, the senatorial bet dubbed “The Good One” was also endorsed by Vice Governor Carlito “Casada” David, Victoria Mayor and second district congressional candidate Christian Tell Yap, Board Members Danilo Asiaten and Antonio Cervantes, Victoria incumbent officials and Tarlac City Mayor Cristy Angeles.
In a statement, Yap said that she guarantees that Ejercito will do good in the senate and urged Tarlaqueños to support his candidacy.

“Alam niyo naman, sa Mayo 9, siya po ay lumalahok ngayon. Gusto niyang bumalik at magsilbi sa ating bayan bilang senador. And guaranteed ko, di kayo magkakamali to support this guy,” Yap pointed-out.

Ejercito was joined by Yap and Christian Tell Yap during his motorcade that took him to the towns of La Paz, Concepcion, Victoria, Pura, Gerona, Paniqui and Tarlac City.
The senatorial candidate likewise took a brief stopover in frort of the Tarlac City Hall and was met by Angeles and other local officials.
After the motorcade, she was interviewed by Yap in her popular Facebook live program “Kapehan sa Tarlac” where around 45,000 watched and interacted with Ejercito.
Presidentiables Isko Moreno, Ping Lacson and Manny Pacquiao, Vice Presidential candidates Tito Sotto and Sara Duterte earlier endorsed his candidacy.
In his first stint at the senate, Ejercito filed more than 100 bills. These include the Universal Health Care Law, Free Medicine for the Poor Act, the Electricity Rate Reduction Act and the Electronic Speed Limited Act.
