THE Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry [PCCI], the biggest aggrupation of business organizations in the country has awarded the province of Tarlac a special citation for the 2021 Most Business Friendly Local Government Unit [LGU].

The awarding was held on November 17 and 18 at the PCCI Innovation Center.
In a statement, Governor Susan Yap thanked the PCCI for recognizing the provinceâs efforts.
âSa ating patuloy na pagsusumikap para sa isang Serbisyong MaYap, another award garnered. Thank you PCCI for recognizing the Provincial Government of Tarlacâs efforts,â she said.
Tarlac province was adjudged as the national winner for the PCCI Most Business Friendly for three consecutive years from 2012 to 2014, thereby proving that investors are right on the money in locating business in Tarlac.
The award presenters were PCCI President Amb. Benedicto Yujuico, PCCI Chairman Ma. Alegria Sibal Limjoco, 47th PBC&E Chairman Jeffrey Ng, PCCI Chairman Emeritus Francis Chua, 47th PBC&E Co-Chairman Edjar Sia and Chairman for Provinces and Municipalities Jose Alejandro.
Winners in the municipal level were Concepcion, Iloilo and Guiguinto, Bulacan. Under the provincial level, the provincial government of Bataan and Cavite were declared winners while under the city level, the Tuguegarao City Information Office in Tuguegarao City; the City Government of Tagum, Bacolod City PIO in Bacolod City and the Manila City Hall.
Likewise cited by the PCCI are the Provincial Government of Bohol, Provincial Government of Laguna, Municipal Government of Calaca, Municipality Government of Pakil, Pasig City, Valenzuela City, Baguio City, Imus City and Tagbilaran City.
The PCCI recognizes LGUs that have been successful in restoring and increasing the business operations in their area thru significant and sustained innovative actions, programs and policies.
