Transistor radios for brgy. Pao students distributed

TRANSISTOR radios for barangay Pao elementary and high school students were distributed last September 24 aimed at strengthening each students’ learning.

The distribution of the donated transistor radios was led by Governor Susan Yap and Vice Governor Carlito “Casada” David and is part of Project Rise [Radio-based Instruction to Strengthen Excellence and Empowerment Among Tarlaqueño Learners] of the provincial government of Tarlac.

“Nagtungo po tayo sa San Pedro Elementary School upang magpamahagi ng mga donated na transistor radio bilang parte ng Project RISE,” Gov. Yap said.

Others present during the distribution were Board Members Antonio Cervantes Jr., Jude Joseph David, Joy Gilbert Lamorena and Joselito Capitulo, San Jose Vice Mayor Samuel Eugenio and San Jose Councilor Mico Yap-Macasaet.

“Ang Project RISE ay isang paraan ng pagpapaabot ng edukasyon gamit ang radyo. Layon nitong maitawid ang kaalaman sa kabataang Tarlaqueño sa kabila ng pandemya,” Gov. Yap further said.
